Ukraine’s Naftogaz Confirms Letter to Gazprom on Gas Supplies

Naftogaz of Ukraine confirmed on Tuesday it sent a letter to the Russian gas holding Gazprom with a request to resume supplies of Russian natural gas.

Ukraine stopped buying Russian gas in November 2015. Naftogaz of Ukraine may resume import of gas from Russia in the third quarter of 2016 if a discount is offered, CEO of the company Andrei Kobolev said on June 6.
