With over 80 distinguished speakers from Greece and abroad, the Institute of Energy for Southeast Europe (IENE) is organizing, for another year, the 27th National Energy Conference "Energy and Development" on November 14-15, 2023, at the Divani Caravel Hotel in Athens. The conference will commence with an address by the Minister of Environment and Energy, Mr. Theodoros Skylakakis, followed by speeches from the Deputy Minister of Environment and Energy, Mr. Alexandra Sdoukou, by the Energy Regulator Prof. Athanasios Dagoumas and representatives of various political parties.
The Conference is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Environment and Energy, the Ministry of Development, the Regulatory Authority for Waste, Energy and Water and the International Energy Agency (IEA).
Amidst significant geopolitical shifts in the broader Southeast Europe and East Mediterranean region, the unveiling of IEA's World Energy Outlook 2023 and the ensuing discourse on the interplay between energy security and geopolitical developments are anticipated to generate considerable interest.
