The trade volume of Turkey's spot natural gas market saw a marked 591% increase reaching 23.101 million Turkish liras on Tuesday, Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Wednesday.
The trade volume on Monday amounted to 3.34 million liras. In the spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 1,503.48 liras on Tuesday, while the total natural gas volume amounted to 15.36 million cubic meters.
On Tuesday, Turkey received 1.548 million cubic meters of pipeline gas.
