Slovenia’s Sostanj coal-fired
power plant TES said it ended 2014 with loss despite net sales of 199 million
euro ($226 million).
Debts towards banks totalled 764 million euro at the end of the year and
liabilities towards France's Alstom, the largest supplier for the plant’s new
545.5 MW unit amounted to 37.8 million euro, the company said in a statement on
Thursday.
TES generated and sold 2,835 GWh of electricity and 259 GWh of heating energy
in 2014.
