The average net monthly salary in Romania fell by 7.2% on the monthin real
terms to 1,740 lei ($422/392euro) in January, the country's statistics board,
INS, said on Tuesday.
Year-on-year, January's average net wage grew by 6.7% in real terms, INS said in a statement.
In nominal terms,the net salary was 6.8% downmonth-on-month and 7.1% higher on the year
