Romania 11-mo Energy Output Edges Up 0.6%

Romania's energy output edged up by an annual 0.6% in the first 11monthsof 2014, while imports increased by 6.6%, the statistics office, INS, said on Wednesday.

Romania's energy production totalled 20.1 million tonnes of oil equivalent (TOE)through November, while imports reached 9.3million TOE, INS said in a statement.

A TOE is the rounded-off amount of energy that would be produced by burning one metric tonne of crude oil.
