Norway's Oil Production Increases in October

Norway's preliminary oil production increased by approximately 30 percent per day in October, the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate's figures showed on Friday.

The official authority said that daily production in October was about 2.1 million barrels of oil and condensate -- an increase of 486 thousand barrels per day compared to September.

Total gas sales were 10.8 billion cubic meters in October -- 4.5 billion cubic meters more than September.
