Montenegro has launched a tender for the design and construction of a
new electric traction substation (ETS) Trebesica, located between Podgorica and
Kolasin, a notice in the European Union’s procurement journal showed on
Tuesday.
The works on Trebesica will include dismantling of all the existing electrical
apparatuses and civil structures and a complete installation of the new civil
structures, electrical elements and equipment, the Tenders Electronic Daily
(TED) said in a notice on its website.
The project will be financed from the European Union’s Instrument for
Pre-accession Assistance funds and will be implemented over a period of 22
months with a 24 month defects notification period.
The deadline for the submission of tenders is August 18.
The contracting authority is Montenegro’s Directorate of Public Works. The value of the project
was not disclosed.
