Moldova's Imports of Oil Products Fall 0.8% in 2014

The volume of oil products imported byMoldova edged down 0.8%to 636,000tonnes (t) in 2014, the country's energy regulator, ANRE, said on Thursday.

Petrol importsfell to 150,000 tfrom 160,000 t, while diesel fuel imports remained flat at around 409,000 t, the regulator said in a statement.

Imports of liquefied petroleum gas increasedto 78,000 t from 72,000 t in 2013.

Around 86% of the imported petrol and 81.6% of the imported diesel fuel came from neighbouring Romania.
