Mitsubishi Announces Stake Acquisition in Turkey’s Calik Enerji

Japanese trade and industry giant Mitsubishi Corporation has announced, in early June, a stake acquisition in Turkey’s Calik Enerji, the energy division of Calik Holding.
The partnership aims to bolster Mitsubishi’s energy and infrastructure businesses in the Middle East, Central Asia, and Africa regions, where the two companies have collaborated on several projects before.

The stake acquisition deal also includes exchange of personnel, the press release on the Mitsubishi website said, though it did not disclose financial details.
