German E-Cars Has Plans to Invest in Serbia's Auto Industry

The German company German E-Cars has confirmed its firm intentions and readiness for strategic cooperation with the Serbian economy and investment in existing and new programs of the Serbian automotive industry.

The company's delegation visited Kragujevac on Friday in organization of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, where it conferred with members of the Regional Automotive Cluster of Central Serbia at the Regional Chamber of Commerce.

German E-Cars Frank Laaber said that the company, in addition to investing in the modernization of traditional production to meet the demands of the international markets and European standards, is also considering the possibilities to start producing e-mobile utility vehicles.

We are particularly interested in strategic cooperation with universities and technical schools here, said Labber as released by the Chamber of Commerce.

Marko Cadez, president of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, expressed his satisfaction over the German company's wish to have strategic cooperation with the Serbian economy, increase its competitiveness and ensure the transfer of cutting-edge technologies to our enterprises reports Tanjug.
