Gazprom's Gas Export To Non-CIS Countries up 17.9% from Jan 1 to May 15 — CEO

Gazprom’s natural gas export to non-CIS countries surged 17.9% year-on-year from January 1 to May 15, 2016, Chief Executive Officer of the Russian gas holding Alexei Miller said on Tuesday.

"According to tentative data, Gazprom’s export to non-CIS countries from January 1 to May 15, 2016 is 17.9% higher than the figure for the like period in 2015," Miller said.

Miller said growth leaders are Northwestern European countries: Germany (+14.2%), the United Kingdom (+104.1%), the Netherlands (+106.7%), and Denmark (+140.2%). Good performance is also showed by Southern and Southeastern European nations: Italy (+7.7%), France (+38.6%), Austria (+21.6%), and Greece (+85.3%).
