Gazprom Raises Gas Export to UK by 91.5% in January-May

Russia's gas giant Gazprom raised natural gas export to the United Kingdom by 91.5% to 3.85 billion cubic meters in the first five months of the year, Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller told reporters on Wednesday.

In all, the company increased its gas supplies abroad by 16.2% (or by 10 billion cubic meters) in January-May 2016. For instance, Gazprom's gas export to Poland grew by 35.6%, as well as to Germany - by 10.4%, France - by 35%, Austria - by 21.3%, Greece - by 85.8%, the Netherlands - by 103.8% and Denmark - by 139.3%, Miller said.
