Flagship companies of Energy, Transport and Industry at the IENE conference on green liquid fuels

The crucial role of green liquid fuels in the energy transition of industry and transport will be the focus of discussion at the two-day online conference entitled "Green Liquid Fuels of the Future", organized by the Institute of Energy for SE Europe (IENE) which starts later today (14:00) and concludes on Friday, February 12. The conference is to be attended by high-ranking government officials, including the Ministers of Environment and Energy and Infrastructure and Transport, Konstantinos Skrekas and Costas Karamanlis (respectively) and the advisor to the Prime Minister Dr. George Kremlis, while speeches and interventions will be made by a variety of top executives from the sectors of Energy, Transport and Industry.

The high importance of green liquid fuels in the course of Energy, Industry and Transport towards climate neutrality as well as the opportunity to meet and discuss with other leading representatives of business and politics has attracted the interest of many flagship companies, which support and participate in the event.

Among the international companies, representatives of which will speak at the conference are BP UK, REPSOL, TOTAL, EXXONMOBIL, OMV, NESTE and the industry’s leading European organization, FuelsEurope, while the participation of leading Greek groups such as Hellenic Petroleum SA, Aegean Airlines, Motor Oil Hellas and ELINOIL is also remarkable.

The conference’s distinguished speakers will present the current framework and the existing needs, the vision behind the green liquid fuels and the strategy followed in each branch and field, while they will also present a series of innovative projects that have already been announced.
