Bulgarian thermal power plant (TPP) Bobov Dol said that its standalone net profit dropped to some 1.1 million levs ($660,138/559,864 million euro) in 2025, from a revised 4 million levs a year earlier. The company’s overall revenue increased to nearly 460.2 million levs last year from 374.4 million levs in 2024, TPP Bobov Dol said in a bourse filing over the weekend. Product sales generated some 370.3 million levs, compared to 303.8 million levs the prior year.
At the same time, the power plant’s expenses rose to some 459.1 million levs from 370 million levs as a result of higher costs for materials and increases in the balance value of assets sold.
TPP Bobov Dol, established in 2000, is located in the Kyustendil region in southwestern Bulgaria and has an installed capacity of 630 MW.
Shares in TPP Bobov Dol last traded on January 16, closing 4.78% higher at 15 euro ($17.68) on the BaSE market of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, bourse data showed.
