Elektrodistribucija Banja Luka, a unit of Bosnian power distribution company Elektrokrajina [BANJ:EKBL-R-A], plans to invest 1.7 million marka ($1 million/900,000 euro) in the construction of new distribution infrastructure in Banja Luka, local media reported on Wednesday.

Elektrokrajina has invested in a significant number of transformer stations on the low-voltage network in urban and suburban areas and hopes to begin works on inner city transformer stations this year, news agency Srna reported, quoting a spokesperson for Elektrokrajina.

Elektrokrajina's non-consolidated net profit fell to 895,000 marka in 2014 from 1.25 million marka a year earlier.
