Distinguished International Experts to Participate in IENE’s Annual Conference in AthensA number of highly distinguished international energy experts will participate in this year’s annual IENE conference which will be held in Athens on November 11 and 12. The conference, known as “Energy & Development”, this year celebrates 20 years of continuous organisation headed by Costis Stambolis, who started this major regional event in June 1996 (before IENE was founded, in 2003)

A number of highly distinguished international energy experts will participate in this year’s annual IENE conference which will be held in Athens on November 11 and 12. The conference, known as "Energy & Development”, this year celebrates 20 years of continuous organisation headed by Costis Stambolis, who started this major regional event in June 1996 (before IENE was founded, in 2003). The central theme of this year’s "Energy & Development” conference conceives the "Role of the Energy Sector in Revitalising Greece’s Economy” although the conference will as usual cover a much broader subject area.
