Czech Foreign Minister Lubomir Zaoralek is angered by Russophobic statements made by a Foreign Ministry official - Czech government’s special emissary for energy security, Vaclav Bartuska.
Vaclav Bartuska has used factually incorrect wording that cannot be justified from a moral standpoint, Zaoralek said on Monday. It is unacceptable for a Foreign Ministry official to speak about burning and killing of citizens as the basic conflict resolution methods.
These are extremely cynical and immoral statements, the Czech foreign minister said.
Bartuska in a recent interview with the neovlivnн.cz online publication, answering how the Baltic states should react to possible appearance of Russian troops in unidentified uniforms, said that they should be eliminated to prevent the military conflict escalation.
Lubomir Zaoralek said in a statement that he was outraged and sharply rebuked the energy security official.
The Czech foreign minister said he rebuked Bartuska for his cynical statement and expressed resentment.
