Croatian
state-owned power utility Hrvatska Elektroprivreda (HEP) said on Monday its
consolidated net profit rose to 1.35 billion kuna ($200.4 million/178.7 million
euro) in the first half of 2015 from 1.32 billion kuna a year earlier.Total
revenues rose to 7.57 billion kuna in the review period from 6.57 billion kuna
a year earlier while total costs were up 20.5% to 5.87 billion kuna, HEP said
in a filing to the Zagreb bourse.
HEP group owns and operates over 4,000 MW of installed
generation capacity and 974 MW of heat production capacity, including 25
hydroelectric plants and eight thermal power plants fired by oil, natural gas
or coal.
