CEZ Supplies Electricity to Romanian Car Producer

Energy company CEZ Vanzare, part of the Czech group CEZ, will sell electricity to local car producer Dacia, part of the Renault group.

The contract, which was awarded through a public tender for EUR 11 million, was concluded for one year and will be valid until end-June next year, reports local Wall-street.ro. It is the first collaboration between the two companies.

CEZ Furnizare currently provides electricity to companies such as Vodafone, BRD, Telekom Romania, Altur Slatina, or AEM Timisoara. The energy supplier was set up in 2007.
