Production of electricity in
Bulgaria rose by 1.4% on a monthly basis to 4,961 gigawatt-hours in January,
the National Statistics Institute (NSI) said on Tuesday.
Year-on-year, power output in the country increased by 5.8% in January, the NSI
said in a statement.
Production of solid fuels rose by 1.1% on the year, while unleaded gasoline
production increased by an annual 15.3% in January.
Natural gas output plunged by an annual 54.5% in January.
