Bulgarian Energy Holding Pays 21.25 Mln Euro Annual Interest on 2013 Bonds

The Bulgarian Energy Holding (BEH) group, which pools all state-owned energy assets, said on Monday it made the annual payment of 21.25 million euro ($23.5 million) interest on its 2013 bonds.

This was the third interest payment, BEH said on its website.

The Eurobond issue of 500 million euro will mature in 2018,

BEH issued the bond in 2013 to cover its liabilities relating to the scrapped project for the construction of Belene nuclear power plant.

On July 26, 2016 BEH successfully placed a second Eurobond issue worth 550 million euro on the Irish Stock Exchange.
