15th SEE Energy Dialogue : Energy Security and the Dynamics of Electricity and Gas Markets on Top of This Year’s AgendaAs preparations mount for the annual SE Europe Energy Dialogue which IENE is organising once again in Thessaloniki, Greece’ s northern capital, on June 19/20 interest is running high among speakers, delegates and supporting companies and organisations

Now in its 15th year the “Energy Dialogue” gathering is considered one of the longest running energy events in the region with a dedicated audience and a growing number of followers. As energy tends to dominate the current geopolitical agenda there is growing anticipation for this year’s SEEED with more than 40 speakers and panelists from all over Europe having already confirmed their participation (here). The detailed conference programme is now under preparation and will be announced shortly.

From the very start the “SEE Energy Dialogue” has been established by IENE as an important regional event spanning the entire energy spectrum and involving most countries in the region. This impact of this regional forum, is being organized with the support of leading and regional organizations and major energy companies, and will bring together high-ranking government officials, senior business executives and energy experts from all countries of S.E. Europe and beyond. The objective being the free exchange of information and ideas, networking and the advancement of cooperation between all countries in SE Europe.

The “SEE Energy Dialogue” has been conceived as an open forum for furthering the idea of a SE European energy bridge between East and West and North and South, for promoting initiatives aimed at tackling the region's complex energy and environmental challenges.

The quest for clean energy solutions, including nuclear power, will be at the heart of this year this important regional meeting. The “Energy Dialogue” will also cover the latest developments in the region’s evolving natural gas, electricity and RES markets and the ongoing energy partnerships with major oil and gas suppliers.

Energy security will once again be at the forefront of the debate concerning the safeguarding of oil and gas supplies to the region in view of ongoing conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East. The role of alternative gas supply routes, LNG shipments, cross border electricity and gas interconnections, electricity grid upgrades together with latest achievements in alternative fuels, renewable energy, hydrogen, and CCUS applications will also be examined.

The 15th SE Europe Energy Dialogue will be held at The Met Hotel in Thessaloniki. The conference will start at on Wednesday afternoon (15:00), June 19 and will end on Thursday afternoon, June 20 (18:00). 

The “Energy Dialogue” is being supported by major energy and services companies including HELLENiQ ENERGYDESFA, KG Law Firm, HEREMAEnSCo, Gastrade and the SEleNe CC.
