Bids for
Serbia's Vinca landfill PPP project have been revealed and we have a total of
11 registered bidders, the City Administration has said in a
release. Opened on Thursday, one bid came from Serbia, three from France,
two from Italy and one each from Greece and Spain, Russia and Germany.
Belgrade Mayor Sinisa Mali said he was very pleased with how many investors had
responded to the invitation to tender, a confirmation that the Vinca landfill
was the biggest project of its kind in Europe at the moment.
The city of Belgrade is deeply committed to solving the problem that has
plagued Vinca for decades, Mali said reports B92.
