In view of the measures taken by the Greek government to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) and in the context of the overall effort to curtail the spread of the virus, IENE has revised its programme of events for the entire year, while some of its events may be cancelled altogether. The events planned for March, April and May will be postponed for the second half of the year, or early in 2021.
More specifically, the following events are postponed for the second half of 2020 or early 2021:
- Conference on "Investing on Energy Efficiency in Business, Industry and Public Buildings”, originally scheduled for Friday, March 20, 2020
- One day Colloquium on "Energy and Investment’s", originally scheduled for Wednesday, April 29, 2020
- Conference on "Green Liquid Fuels of the Future", originally scheduled for Friday, May 29, 2020
For the time being, the 12th SEE Energy Dialogue, scheduled for June 25-26, 2020, in Thessaloniki is not cancelled and is expected to take place as planned. In case that due to worsening conditions we are compelled to postpone it there will be a separate announcement.
A fully revised programme of IENE events for 2020/2021 will be announced once living and working conditions have normalized.
