Responding to an invitation by the organizers, the "Petroleum Industry Review” and the "Petroleum Club of Romania”, IENE’s Executive Director, Mr. Costis Stambolis participated at the annual "SEE 2016 Upstream” conference delivering one of the keynote addresses. The conference which was held at the JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel was well attended by several companies and organizations active in Romania’s oil sector but also in the Black Sea region (see www.upstream2016.blackseaevents.com for full details on the conference and speakers).

In his intervention Costis Stambolis presented the main findings of IENE’s latest study on "A Strategy for Unlocking Greece’s Hydrocarbon Potential”. Apart from C. Stambolis co-authors of this ground breaking IENE study include Mr. Gus Papamichalopoulos, Partner, KG LAW FIRM and Dr. Dinos Nikolaou, Technical Advisor, Energean Oil & Gas.
